Global Village, the premier family destination for multicultural entertainment in the region, is gearing up to open its doors for its 28th season on 18 October. Since its inception in 1997, Global Village has had the pleasure of hosting over 100 million visitors, and this season looks set to be a bumper one as well, as the recent release of VIP packs for Season 28 witnessed an unprecedented demand, and sold out rapidly after becoming available for purchase on Saturday, 30 September.
Visitors will receive their VIP packs within the next ten days, ensuring they have them in hand in time for the grand opening of Season 28 on 18 October. The anticipation is growing, especially regarding who will win the coveted golden cheque. Global Village is encouraging all guests to capture the moment of unboxing their VIP packs on video, as one fortunate VIP pack holder will win a generous prize of Dhs 28,000.
Global Village is urging VIP pack holders to join in the spirit of the UAE's Year of Sustainability by planting and caring for the 'Seeds of Hope' included with this year's packs.
VIP guests can register their packs via the Global Village website or mobile app to activate their VIP privileges and access a personalised dashboard.
For those who missed out on purchasing a VIP Pack, Global Village will introduce other exclusive and cost-effective packages for purchase, including the Family Packs. General admission tickets will also be accessible online and at the entrances starting 18 October.
In its previous season, Global Village boasted an impressive array of offerings, including 27 pavilions representing over 90 diverse cultures worldwide, a staggering 3,500 shopping outlets, and an extensive selection of 250 dining establishments. The park hosted over 400 performers from over 40 countries, treating guests to a nightly showcase of over 200 captivating performances.
Additionally, visitors relished the excitement of 175 rides at the Carnival funfair. And we are sure Season 28 will have something bigger to offer.
