Abu Dhabi will host the world's most exciting sailing competition in January 2024. The first Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix, in partnership with SailGP’s Global Series Partner Mubadala Investment Group and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, will take place on Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, January 14.
The inaugural event will be held at Zayed Port and feature hydrofoiling F50 catamarans, capable of reaching speeds of nearly 100km per hour. The event will be a part of season four of the race series, which includes stages in New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Saint-Tropez and San Francisco.
National teams from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States will engage in a fierce two-day competition in Abu Dhabi. Tickets for the event are now on sale with prices starting from Dhs 145.
