However, if you have extra money to spend and don't mind boarding a private jet, you can actually travel with your furry ones from Dubai to the UK. How, you ask? Well, it is because K9 Jets is launching a new private jet service on Tuesday, 26 September, for pet owners in Dubai.
K9 Jets offers this service in New Jersey, London, Paris, Lisbon, and Frankfurt, and now it is launching this uber-luxury service in Dubai. Pet owners and their dogs can now travel in a private jet for Dhs 36,455. The price is inclusive of taxes, refreshments, snacks, a personalised gift and pet handling costs in London. The new Dubai to London route will see regular flights throughout 2023 and 2024 from December across January, April, July, and September, which are available to book now with further dates set to be announced.
The private jet company allows your pets to be by your side in the cabin and provides a relaxed, stress-free environment for you and your four-legged companions. For dogs, there are no crates required, and they can sit on the lap or beside you in the cabin. For cats, they must be in the carriers.
All the flights from Dubai will depart from a private terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport, and guests should arrive at the terminal 60 minutes before the departure. There are no queues for security or customs, and the terminal offers a grassy area for pets to relax.
In terms of luggage and seats, each passenger books a seat and each seat allows luggage up to 20kg,
a carry-on bag, two pets up to 50lbs each or one pet over 50lbs. If you have two pets weighing over 51lbs, you have to purchase two seats. While booking the tickets, uploading relevant medical certifications for pets is a must.
