A school comparison website, schoolscompared.com, has announced its winners of the top 25 schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The awards cover schools from all sectors and winning schools are represented from across British, Indian, French and American curricula. Only those schools which have secured a good school or above rating from Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC) or the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) inspectors have been included.
Each of the 25 schools was decided on the basis of outstandingly positive feedback by parents, teachers and students, schools visits and the expert views of a panel of judges from the web site.
What is interesting is that the schools are all so different with different curricula and fees ranging from value to ultra-premium. Different KHDA and ADEC gradings from good to outstanding. Not-for-profit and for-profit.
The website commented, “Inevitably any grading is a snapshot in time. It is also the case, inevitably, on this basis, that even the schools we do feature here, may not meet the same high standards of offer, or value proposition, in future years. This is why, wherever practicable, we endeavour to review every school each year – and why, ultimately, it is imperative for parents to visit schools and speak with other parents, children, teachers and, ideally, the school Principal, to make what is probably the most important decision any parents will make for their children”.
