Flow Talks


In collaboration with Dubai Fitness Challenge, Dubai Design District's resident recreational space, The Block is transforming into an ultimate fitness hub for a week with fitness classes for all levels. Attend free sessions including a high-intensity boot camp, 5km canal run, cardio-focused Zumba classes, sweat-inducing HIIT sessions and more.

Dubai Design Week is the largest creative festival in the Middle East, reflecting Dubai’s position as the regional capital of design. The six-day programme covers a range of design disciplines including architecture, product design, interiors, multimedia and graphic design, with the majority of events being free to attend and accessible for both industry and public.

Flow Talks


This Tuesday, Flow Talks series will explore how Dubai residents can maintain fitness momentum following this year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge. The free-to-attend talk will focus on physical and mental health before closing with an open-floor question and answer session between the Flow Talks Series’ diverse mix of expert speakers and members of the audience. The event starts at 6.30pm.

Speakers include: 

  • Maria Abi Hanna, a licensed dietitian and eating disorder practitioner
  • Domia Economides, an award-winning athlete and female personal trainer
  • GbemiGiwa, an award-winning fitness blogger and millennial entrepreneur
  • Nikita Phulwani, one of the region’s few plus-size bloggers
  • Samia Kallidis, a ninja warrior & strength and conditioning coach

Marcus Smith, a Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019 ambassador, will serve as panel moderator.

Wild Workout


In collaboration with Dubai Fitness Challenge, ZabeelPark is hosting a "Wild Workout" session when runners of all fitness levels will conquer a 2km route around the park’s outer area as they participate in fun packed cardio session.

Music in the Studio: Arkady Shilkoper and Vadim Neselovskyi


Dubai Opera’s ongoing Music in the Studio series is presenting a concert by Arkady Shilkloper and Vadim Neselovskyi. Shilkloper is considered one of the world’s best horn and alphorn jazz performers, while Neselovsky is a jazz pianist and professor at the Berklee School of Music in California. Tickets start at Dhs 150.
