Emirates has reported strong booking momentum entering the upcoming winter season, supported by a busy summer performance where the airline carried over 8.6 million passengers between July and August.
The Dubai-based carrier is operating at roughly 93% of its pre-disruption capacity, driven by high demand across European, Middle Eastern, Asian, and Americas routes. Outbound travel from the UAE remains robust, while inbound traffic saw over 500,000 arrivals into Dubai during late August alone.
Alongside the anticipated influx of winter vacationers and business travellers, Emirates will introduce new routes, higher flight frequencies, and retrofitted aircraft. From 1 October, direct flights to Helsinki begin, and a second daily services will be added for Accra, Tokyo Narita, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi, while one daily Delhi service upgrades to the A380.
The A350 will expand to Larnaca, Malta, Nairobi, and Hamburg in late October, followed by Mauritius in November.
By the end of December, 155 aircraft will feature Emirates' latest cabin interiors and Premium Economy, and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi installations are progressing across the fleet, with nearly 50 aircraft fitted to date.
To maintain consumer confidence despite a global trend toward shorter booking windows, Emirates has maintained relaxed fare rules. Passengers booking travel receive one free date change anywhere across the network, unlimited date changes on Dubai destinations, and reduced refund fees.
