Andrew Strong of cult classic film The Commitments, is due to perform at The Irish Village on Thursday 23 November.
The Commitments is a 1991 Irish-British-American musical comedy-drama set in Dublin and tells the story of Jimmy Rabbitte, a young music fanatic who assembles a group of working-class youths to form a soul band named "The Commitments".
Since being nominated for a Grammy Award, Strong has toured with artists including Sir Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, The Rolling Stones and Prince.
