Dubai Retail has announced the launch of The Yard, marking the very first retail and lifestyle destination slated to open on Palm Jebel Ali. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the waterfront hub will serve an estimated 20,000 residents across the developing communities.
The project, developed under Dubai Holding Asset Management, spans approximately 70,000 square feet of gross leasable area. Designed to operate as a practical daily-life anchor rather than a large destination mall, the venue will bring together 26 curated concepts across essential retail, dining, healthcare, and family services.
A initial line-up of confirmed tenants includes Waitrose supermarket, American Hospital, Piccoli, Jumeirah International Nursery, Bateel Café, and Friends Avenue.
Located near the entrance point to the Palm Jebel Ali, The Yard will feature open outdoor terraces, communal gathering spaces, and direct links to a waterfront promenade, directly connecting visitors with the surrounding coastal environment. The launch expands Dubai Retail’s portfolio to 57 shopping and lifestyle destinations across the emirate.
