Dubai based Emirates NBD Group secured 12 top titles across the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026 and the Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2026, solidifying its place at the forefront of the region’s banking sector. The accolades highlight the group's strength in conventional and Shariah-compliant banking.
Among the main honours, Emirates NBD was named the UAE’s Best Bank, Best Bank for ESG, and Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility, while also taking home the regional titles for Middle East's Best Retail Bank and Middle East's Best Bank for Customer Experience.
Its Islamic banking arm, Emirates Islamic, swept six categories, including Middle East’s Best Islamic Bank and UAE’s Best Islamic Bank. The institution was also recognised globally for arranging the World’s Best Sukuk Deal, a pioneering USD 500 million sustainability-linked financing sukuk that attracted over USD 1.2 billion in order books.
Additionally, investment banking arm Emirates NBD Capital made a strong showing, with Chief Executive Hitesh Asarpota named Middle East's Best Investment Banker of the Year 2026 following a record-setting year of deal-making across the GCC and international markets.
