National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced the COVID-19 protocols to adhere to during the upcoming Commemoration Day and 50th National Day celebrations.
All ages are allowed to attend events provided they have received the vaccine 14 days prior, have received their booster shot or have a green pass on the Al Hosn App.
Negative results from PCR tests need to be presented which are valid for 96 hours to participate in various activities.
Individuals will need to get temperature checks as well as wear face masks at all times, when indoors and in crowded areas.
A physical distance of 1.5 metres should be followed.
Members from the same family do not need to follow the physical distance rule and can stay together.
80% of capacity is allowed at events with social distancing maintained and hugging and shaking hands avoided.
