WhatsApp Service For Emergency DMT Support

The Department of Municipalities and Transport has announced the launch of an automated messaging service on WhatsApp.

The service will offer individuals an additional communication tool for emergency cases and allows users to obtain support and track the status of their requests.

The platform will offer a range of services including options for users to easily navigate between municipalities of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra region and the Integrated Transportation Centre (ITC), receiving technical assistance for emergencies related to the department's services such as the storm water system, lighting, general city appearance, public safety, road problems and more.

Individuals can also report emergency situations by sending images or sharing the location through Google Maps.

By using the service, the customer experience will also improve by providing an efficient response to requests received.

The platform will use artificial intelligence, is available in Arabic and English and will be available 24 hours a day.
