The thriving Dubai community of Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) has been selected as one of the eleven fitness hubs for the third edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC).
Now is the time for JLT residents to enjoy and take part in a 30x30 action packed week at the JLT Park between 1 and 7 November 2019.
JLT will host free sports events and fitness challenges that are accessible to everyone, including activities for children designed to inspire a healthy lifestyle. To encourage participation, DFC has installed “City in a Gym”, a virtual fitness pole in JLT Park where participants can scan a QR code to access a multitude of workouts activities and more at any time.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, DMCC says, "Situated in the heart of Dubai, JLT has become one of the emirate’s destinations of choice and the home to a thriving community of 100,000 people where you can work live and play.”
Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, DFC aims to unify the emirate through 30 days of inclusive fitness activities, with the common goal of leading healthy and active lifestyles.
