DXB Set For Busy July As Summer Passenger Numbers Set To 3 Million

Dubai Media Office

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is gearing up for an exceptionally busy peak period, with approximately 3 million guests expected to travel through its terminals during the first half of July. The seasonal exodus is expected to kick off on 2 July, driven by residents departing for annual summer holidays, pushing daily passenger numbers consistently past the 200,000 mark.

International transfer traffic will account for roughly 50% of the total volume, reinforcing Dubai's position as a vital global aviation hub.

Families travelling with children aged 12 and over are advised to use the Smart Gates to accelerate passport control, whilst all passengers are reminded to pack spare batteries and power banks strictly inside their hand luggage.

Emirates has also issued travel advise for those flying form DXB in July.
