Sheikh Hamdan Sends Prayers For Missing Submarine's Return

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has sent prayers to the people onboard the missing submarine as well as their families. 

Search parties from the United States and Canada have been sent in attempts to locate the submarine and rescue those onboard.

There are five passengers on the submarine, Dubai resident Hamish Harding, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, Paul-Henry Nargeolet and Stockton Rush.

In a post on Twitter, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said, "While search teams are working hard to rescue passengers of the OceanGate Submarine: Hamish Harding, Shahzada Dawood, his son Suleman, Paul-Henry Nargeolet, and Stockton Rush; Dubai and its people pray for their safety and hopeful return home. We are following the updates anxiously and are unified in our prayers for them and their families during these difficult times."

On Sunday, 18 June, the submarine went for a dive and after one hour and 45 minutes, contact with the submarine was lost.
