The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) reiterates the ban on all types of drones and light sports aircraft.
The decision comes due to the exceptional circumstances the country is going through. GCAA urged everyone to adhere to the decision to avoid legal action.
On 28 February, the GCAA announced the suspension of all flight permits for gliders, drones, and recreational aircraft of all types, for a period of one week, in light of the ongoing regional tensions.
