Dubai Media Office

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council has approved a new saving scheme for foreign employees working in the government.

The scheme will help provide expats with higher incentives and future savings, in terms of end of service benefits.

With the scheme, individuals will be able to increase their financial savings as well as will be provided with different modes to save, compatible with Islamic Sharia law.

Employees that do not want to invest can avail options that will ensure their capital protection.

The initiative is currently targeted at government expat employees and will eventually also be implemented for the private sector on a volunteer basis.
