Dubai Media Office

Nominations for the inaugural edition of the Dubai-it Award are officially open, welcoming submissions from individuals, projects, private companies, and government entities across the emirate. Organisers confirmed that the nomination window will remain open through 10 September 2026 via the award’s dedicated digital portal.

The award stems from the "Dubai-it" initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and is executed under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE. The initiative establishes a standard for institutional and individual performance, turning ambitious concepts into concrete results with speed and precision.

For the first annual cycle, eligible submissions cover initiatives, projects, and structural transformations executed within the past four years. Submissions will be evaluated across three core categories:

  • Individuals: Honouring leaders and key contributors who drove impactful change.
  • Projects: Recognising specific initiatives that delivered measurable sector transformations.
  • Institutions and Companies: Celebrating public and private organisations that achieved results matching Dubai’s operational standards.

The award spans 10 critical sectors driving Dubai's economy and infrastructure: Government, Real Estate, Economy, Business, Technology, Sports, Society, Education, Services, and Health.

Self-nominations and third-party submissions can be completed online at www.dubai-it.ae, accompanied by documented evidence showing project scope, implementation timelines, and verified outcomes.
