The National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority has announced that there has been a 62% decrease in the number of infections since earlier this year.
In comparison to the number of infections in January, there has been a significant difference in the infections in August.
The health authorities were able to do so by ensuring vaccinations were available to the public.
A wide testing strategy also took place to treat individuals that were critical and not critical.
Additionally, the prices for PCR tests have now been reduced to Dhs 50, to encourage individuals to get tested.
