As UAE residents return to work after the long weekend marking Eid Al Fitr, thoughts for some are already looking for when the public holiday is expected.
Here is a look at what is expected next and all the expected holidays for the rest of this year.
Arafat Day is expected be the next official holiday and due to fall on Tuesday, 26 May, which will be followed by Eid Al Adha from Wednesday, 27 May through to Friday, 29 May. Including the weekend of Saturday, 30 and Sunday 31 May, a very long break could be on the cards.
On Wednesday, 17 June, Islamic New Year is expected to fall, and the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Birthday, falling on Tuesday, 25 or Wednesday, 26 August.
The last break of the year will mark Eid Al Etihad, the 55th UAE National Day, on Wednesday, 2nd and Thursday, 3rd December.
All Islamic holidays are dependent on moon-sighting and exact confirmation will be announced nearer to the expected dates.
