The 24 hour National Disinfection Programme across Dubai that has been ongoing for the past two weeks, has been extended by another week, it has been confirmed by the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai.
The extension follows the positive impact of the 24 hour sterilisation operation along with intensified restrictions on movement, which have been in place since 4 April to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
The permit to move requirement currently in place in Dubai, will continue to be in place during the extension of the sterilisation programme. Applications for a permit to move have been recently updated and allow for one permit for essential groceries every three days.
