I think it’s fair to say that everyone knows the Meat Co. With its relaxed atmosphere, great views of the Jumeirah waterways and great food, it’s a pretty popular choice for a night out. And it still holds its own when it comes down to the food.
What we ate
We started with the rare roast beef, salsa tonnata and aromatic herbs and the goats’ cheese salad with mixed lettuce, tomatoes, strawberry vinegar and balsamic mayonnaise. For mains, we went for the connoisseurs choice premium Australian Wagyu beef (marble score 7+) served with asparagus and mashed potatoes with the wild mushroom café au lait and creamy peppercorn sauces.
Verdict
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff! It truly is an old favourite for a reason!
