A new contemporary, speakeasy-inspired executive lounge named Bondz has officially opened at the Emirates Financial Towers in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Founded by former banking and financial services professional Ashish Agrawal, the venue operates as a dual-concept space designed to accommodate the changing routines of DIFC professionals, entrepreneurs, and city visitors. From noon to 4pm daily, the venue functions as a quiet co-working and business networking hub tailored for remote working, client meetings, and corporate catch-ups. Later in the day, the space transitions into an evening social lounge.
To develop the guest experience, Agrawal partnered with hospitality veteran Nitesh Manghnani, who joins the venture as the Experience Curator. Manghnani has managed the venue’s transitions in lighting, music, and service philosophy to shift the room's energy from a productive daytime workspace into a relaxed evening environment. The physical layout features rich wood panelling, warm ambient lighting, plush leather seating, and specific acoustic design elements to support both private business conversations and social gatherings.
The culinary operations are headed by Executive Chef Brando Del Mundo, who has created a globally inspired menu focused on contemporary comfort dining and sharing plates. The food selection includes dishes such as Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Salmon Tataki, Hamachi Ceviche, artisanal sushi rolls, bao buns, tacos, and sliders. The food menu is paired with a dedicated beverage programme featuring non-alcoholic experiential mocktails, including tropical fruit blends inspired by Southeast Asian markets and distinct pandan-and-coconut infused creations.
