Café Belge at Ritz-Carlton, DIFC celebrates the 1920s
This Belgian grand café is playing host to new weekly experiences celebrating classic Belgian cuisine proudly set in the golden era of 1920s Brussels. Each weeknight features classic cuisine with new twists, including exquisite pairings of moules, oysters and bubbles; a dedicated ladies’ night; a combination of traditional and contemporary live music and a family-friendly brunch. Starting on Sundays, guests can enjoy Moules and hops with live music by sax and piano duo Desert Jazz. Monday sees Oysters & Bubbles starting at Dhs 95 only. On Wednesday, you can indulge in a three-hour beverage package, with live music from six-piece band The Swing Revue, starting from Dhs 250. Thali lunch at Bombay Brasserie, Taj, Business Bay
Sometimes you need to kick back and enjoy some home comforts. Bombay Brasserie, is now offering a curated thali menu, allowing you to taste a variety of classic North Indian flavours. The thali, made up of a number of small dishes, caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians with a menu composed of a kebab and a selection of curries. Seafire Steakhouse & Bar’s newest Gentleman’s Evening presents The Soul Society. Every Wednesday from 8pm, the guys can enjoy a choice of one of four complimentary handcrafted cocktails on arrival, followed by protein rich sharing menus, set to the backdrop of The Soul Society’s Soul ‘n’ Funk classics. Meat connoisseur Chef de Cuisine, Raymond Wong, has crafted the ultimate in meat feasts with a “titans tomahawk” steak and sides. Murder mystery dinner at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse
This Address Marina steakhouse is planning mayhem for Halloween - with a 1965 New Orleans-themed murder mystery dinner. Patrons are advised to dress in 1960s dinner attire, and solve clues as to ‘who dunnit’. The menu includes crispy lobster followed by veal osso buco ravioli and either a petite fillet or miso-glazed seabass, with a selection of side dishes.
