From the moment you step into Teatro, you are immersed in an international experience. The warm red décor, with mahagony and black tones and muted lighting create a very welcoming feel. Cuisine-wise, Teatro has a bit of everything, with a menu that includes Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Italian, as well as an extensive selection of Sushi.
What we ate
There were so many choices on the menu, we wanted to try everything, but in the end we went for the Asian Sampling Plate, which included the Peking duck spring rolls, vegetable samosas & fried prawns and the Maguro (tuna) Sushi. The duck rolls were absolutely beautiful and the sushi was made with the freshest tuna. For mains we had the Miso Chilean Seabass and the Surf & Turf "Teatro", a petit prime filet au poivre with grilled lobster tail. Both were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. It is always difficult to save room for dessert, but the sharing dessert platter was perfect in size and quality.
Verdict
Great value for money, fantastic choice and tasty dishes! A hole in one!
