The DXB Snow Run is back for its seventh edition on Sunday, 17 May. The event brings runners into the wintry world of Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates for a one-of-a-kind race.
Organised by Ski Dubai in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, the event is open to participants aged 13 to 70 and is positioned as a celebration of community spirit, inclusion, and wellbeing as part of the UAE Year of Family.
In case you’re participating, this is not your usual early-morning city run. There is no blazing sun, no sticky humidity, and no endless pavement. Instead, runners trade palm trees for powdery snow and step into a frosty indoor course that feels more alpine adventure than athletic routine. That contrast is exactly what makes the DXB Snow Run so much fun!
Participants can choose between 3 kilometres and 5 kilometres tracks, with the shorter race made up of three loops and the longer one made up of five loops. You can take it on solo if you are feeling competitive, or sign up as part of a team of five. The event works well for casual runners and serious fitness fans chasing a memorable challenge.
Participants must wear regular sportswear, soft-soled shoes, and gloves with a good grip. Registration is already open. Below are the prices:
- Individual (3 kilometres): Dhs 120 per person
- Individual (5 kilometres): Dhs 150 per person
- Team of 5: Dhs 110 per person
