Dubai Opera presents The Firebird and Petrushka, a special ballet double bill by the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, from 24 to 26 April 2026. In The Firebird, choreographer Maša Kolar turns the famous fairy tale into a modern and symbolic performance inspired by Stravinsky’s 1919 suite. The ballet follows Prince Ivan through a dreamlike world and explores ideas of power, change, and transformation.

In Petrushka, choreographer Edward Clug offers a new take on the tragic story of a puppet. His version is visually striking and emotionally powerful, exploring themes such as identity, loneliness, and human vulnerability in a simple but expressive way.
