Bored of working from office or home? Dubai is rethinking what a workplace can look like. Dubai Municipality has launched a new initiative which transforms parks into environments that support modern lifestyles and work patterns.
The 'Work from Park' aims to convert public parks into urban spaces where people can work, connect and recharge, bringing productivity, wellbeing and nature into the same setting. The initiative was launched on 19 April and is positioned as a first-of-its-kind move in line with the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy.
As part of the implementation of the initiative, Dubai Municipality has signed two Memoranda of Cooperation with Group AMANA and Letswork LLC to support the development of advanced infrastructure for future-ready workspaces within public parks across the emirate.

A Flagship Launch At Al Barsha Pond Park
Under the agreement, Group AMANA, through DuBox, will construct and develop the first 'Work from Park' destination at Al Barsha Pond Park, this May. The system allows units to be produced off-site to high quality standards and then transported and assembled on-site efficiently and quickly.
If the construction side is about infrastructure, the Letswork partnership is about day-to-day experience. Letswork will help activate and operate the concept across public parks, creating open and flexible work environments accessible to a broad user base. Through the Letswork platform, users will be able to access a network of workspaces that includes hot desks, event spaces, podcast studios and creative production facilities.

In addition, Letswork will also help content creators and people working in Dubai’s expanding creative economy. The project will include dedicated creative workspaces tailored to their needs and working styles, as well as educational programmes and collaborative sessions designed to support entrepreneurship, skill development and creative exchange.
Collectively, these partnerships will ensure seamless integration across design, development, and operations, enabling public parks to support productivity while strengthening community engagement.
Through this initiative, Dubai Municipality is working to make public spaces and parks more useful, inclusive and future-ready, while improving quality of life and supporting the city’s growth.
