Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that free parking will be available throughout the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
From Thursday, 20 April till 3 Shawaal, parking in Dubai will be free.
Based on the sighting of the moon, 3 Shawaal will either fall on Sunday, 23 April or Monday, 24 April.
Additionally, from Thursday, 20 April to Saturday, 22 April, the Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines will operate from 5am to 1am and from 8am to 1am on Sunday, 23 April.
On Thursday, 20 April to Saturday, 22 April, the Dubai Tram will run from 6am to 1am and on Sunday, 23 April, from 9am to 1am.
Abu Dhabi
The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has also announced that parking, as well as the Darb Toll Gate, will be free from Thursday, 20 April till the end of the Eid break.
Sharjah
Additionally, Sharjah Municipality has updated that parking will be free from the first to the third day of Eid Al Fitr, apart from seven-day paid parking zones.
