Sheikh Mohammed Sends Aid To Pakistan

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has sent urgent aid to Pakistan.

Over the past few weeks, Pakistan has had an excess of rainfall, four times the rates recorded in the past 30 years, leading to severe floods.

Dhs 50 million has been given by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) along with the World Food Programme and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment (MBRCH).

The aid will support individuals and families affected by the floods, which have killed over 1,136 people, displaced millions and destroyed vital roads and entire villages.
