The 1 Billion Meals initiative, aimed at providing meals to the less fortunate during the Holy Month of Ramadan, has now made four channels available for donations.
Organised by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the initiative will help people in over 50 countries globally.
The four channels available are:
- Through the 1 Billion Meals website for people inside and outside the country
- Through a monthly SMS subscription for Dhs 1 a day by sending 'Meal' to 1020 for du and 1110 for Etisalat
- Through a direct transfer the charity's Emirates NBD account, AE300260001015333439802
- Through the call centre via the toll-free number, 8009999
