Nakheel is now a part of the Dubai Can initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The initiative will provide residents, tourists and citizens with free drinking water from allocated dispensers.
The water stations are situated at Palm West Beach, Nakheel Mall and Dragon Mart.
The initiative aims at being more environmentally friendly by reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles and encouraging people to use reusable bottles.
