A new bus on-demand service has been launched by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) from Al Nahda.
The service is now available to all and has been added due to the high demand for travel from the area.
The 10 seater buses operate with flexible routes and timings and the drivers will communicate with the customer via the app to locate the closest point to the individual.
As the buses are smaller in size, they are environmentally friendly as they require less fuel and reduce the use of private vehicles.
13 minibuses are currently available at Al Barsha, Dubai Silicon Oasis and the Academic City.
From Monday to Thursday, the bus service is available from 5am to midnight, on Friday and Saturday, will run from 5am to 1am the following day and from 10am on Sunday to 1am on Monday.
The travel price is set at Dhs 5 with an additional of Dhs 2 per rider
The service is available via the Dubai Bus On Demand app on the Apple Store as well as Google Play Store.
