The UAE Ministry of Defence has announced that it had intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles targetting the UAE.
In a statement on Monday morning on Emirates News Agency (WAM), the ministry stated that its air defence had intercepted and destroyed the missiles, and fragments of them fell in different areas around the UAE capital. The statement also confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.
The Ministry of Defence affirmed its "full readiness to deal with any threats," adding that it will "take all necessary measures to protect the UAE from any attacks."
