Talent Pass Launched In The UAE

The Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) has announced the launch of the ‘Talent Pass’ licence which can be used for freelance and self-employment.

The pass will be given to people with special skills and expertise from around the world.

Talent Pass holders will receive a three-year resident visa, will be able to rent an office space through DAFZ and will be able to access the network of DAFZ customers.

The initiative aims at attracting global talent and professionals in the fields of media, education, technology, art, marketing and consultancy.

The Dubai Airport Freezone, part of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) signed an MoU with Dubai Culture and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).

The pass is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

The pass issued will allow individuals to practice commercial activities within the freezone.
