RTA

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a sector of the Dubai - Al Ain Road Improvement Project is now open.

The roads have been widened from three lanes to six lanes, heading in the direction of Al Ain. The sector starts from Bu Kadra Junction to the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road junction on the Dubai - Al Ain Road.

Work on two underpasses has been completed and will help the traffic moving to and from Al Meydan Road, service roads leading to the residential communities of Nad Al Sheba 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as the new Nad Al Sheba Bridge, Meydan district and Meydan Heights.

While travelling from Dubai going towards Nad Al Sheba 2 via the underpass, drivers need to use the service road at Exit 6 on Oud Metha Street.

While leaving Meydan Heights heading towards the Dubai - Al Ain Road, motorists are advised to use the temporary road from Meydan Heights through Abjar Street, heading to the Dubai - Al Ain Road, via Street 34 at Nad Al Sheba.
