Careem Bike along with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has reached 1 million trips in Dubai.
To celebrate the milestone, three of the top users of Careem Bike were given a year of bike riding for free.
To mark the occasion, over the weekend of 24 and 25 December, all bike rides will be priced at Dhs 1.
Individuals that would like to use the bike service for more days can also get memberships for a week, a month or a year.
Careem Bike is the first bike-sharing platform that allows individuals to travel from one location to another on bikes, as well as cut down on carbon emissions by cycling to various destinations.
The stations are solar-powered and are placed all over Dubai including Expo 2020 Dubai, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Barsha Heights, The Greens, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Palm Jumeirah, Deira, Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai Canal, Karama, Mankhool, Al Qudra, Umm Suqeim and Al Quoz.
