Expo 2020 Dubai has announced a series of COVID-19 measures to ensure the safety of all individuals attending.
On-site PCR testing centres will increase from one centre to four.
Free testing will be available for country pavilion staff, with all performers and frontline workers regularly tested.
Close contact events including parades and roving entertainers have been suspended.
All Expo and international participating staff, volunteers, contractors and service providers are required to be fully vaccinated as well as take the due booster shots.
Visitors aged 18 and above need to either show proof of vaccination or have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours.
Sanitisation stations will be available on-site with face masks mandatory, both while indoor and outdoor.
