The Federal Authority For Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced that 1 January 2022 will be a paid holiday for the public sector.
The paid holiday is given for the celebration of the New Year.
Work for the government sector will continue on 3 January 2022, in line with the new 4.5-day working week with the weekend falling on Saturday and Sunday.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has also announced that 1 January will be paid holiday for the private sector.
