The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that a decree has been made to unify the public and private sectors in the UAE.
Employees from both sectors can now work through full time, flexible, part-time and temporary work models.
End of service benefits, as well as paid leaves, will also be the same for both sectors.
The new labour laws will come into effect from 2 February 2022.
