The National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster management has announced updated protocols for individuals entering the country from Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The change has already been taken into effect.

Individuals entering that have been fully vaccinated must show a negative PCR test valid for 14 days, with another PCR test taken after six days from entering, if the individual is staying for a period over six days.

Individuals that have not been vaccinated need to present a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours from entry as well as take a PCR test on the fourth day and the eighth day, if staying for a period of over four or eight days.

Vaccinated and unvaccinated educational staff, students that are moving to the Emirates as well as their parents must show a PCR test taken before 14 days.

Individuals crossing borders must also follow all protocols including wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, sterilising luggage and not travelling if they have symptoms of the virus or have chronic diseases.
