Expo 2020 Opening Ceremony Can Be Viewed All Around The UAE

Expo 2020 Dubai will host the opening ceremony tonight, 30 September, and will be live-streamed for all to view the opening of the largest cultural event.

Expo will be the largest global event held since the pandemic and will be live-streamed on the Expo Youtube channel and Expo TV.

Performing live for the opening ceremony are Andrea Bocelli, Ellie Goulding, Lang Lang, Andra Day and Angelique Kidjo.

Screens will be placed over the UAE and will live stream the spectacular performance.

Over 240 hotels will stream the opening show including Emaar’s Rove, Armani, Address Hotels and Resorts, Vida Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt International, Atlantis The Palm and more.

17 Majid Al Futtaim malls, City Walk, Nakheel Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, 50 Jashanmal locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, 97 Mediclinics, Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Zabeel Ladies Club and Sharaf DG will also stream the experience.

Emirates, the Official Airline Partner of Expo 2020, will also live-stream the event at its first and business class lounges, both locally and internationally.

Multiple locations in Umm Al Quwain, Yas Plaza in Abu Dhabi, various locations in Ras Al Khaimah including the Corniche, Al Marjan Island and Manar Mall, Ajman Heritage District and Fujairah Fort will also host a live broadcast.

On 1 October, to celebrate the opening of the doors to Expo 2020, three firework shows will be held at Dubai Festival City, The Dubai Frame and The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai Festival City and The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah will feature the fountains with an Expo 2020 light and sound themed show with The Dubai Frame lit up in the Expo colours.

The flags of participating countries will also be displayed with booths on the ground for purchasing Expo 2020 tickets.
