Phase Two Of The Emirati Cuisine Programme Launched

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of the second phase in the Emirati Cusine Programme.

The programme was initially launched in 2020 with the aim to make Emirati food readily available by training hotel chefs to prepare and serve authentic dishes.

30 hotels gained certification in Emirati cuisine during the first phase, with 20 hotels participating in the second phase.

Chef Khulood Atiq, Emirati culinary will virtually train chefs with Saadiyat Rotana Resort and Villas hosting the filming of the classes.

The second phase will explore fusion dishes that will interlink Emirati cuisine to other cuisines. 

The second phase will run to the end of December, with the fusion dishes at participating restaurants offered till 30 November.
