Top Five Best And Worst Government Entities Announced

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the best and the worst government entities.

The government companies have been ranked based on their digital services with the worst ranked in an effort to ensure their services improve.

The top five governmental entities are the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the Ministry of Community Development.

The entities ranked the worst are the Ministry of Education, the Federal Tax Authority, the Securities and Commodities Authority, the General Pension and Social Security Authority and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.

The underperforming entities have 90 days to improve their digital services.

The rankings are based on a public poll created three months ago through which 55,000 individuals shared their opinions of 30 government agencies.

In a tweet, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed said, “To ensure transparency and provide efficient digital services within the UAE government, we conducted a survey to classify the five best and worst government entities. We aim to establish a digital government that keeps pace with global trends.”
