The first official Snow Volleyball Tournament is set to take place at Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates.
Held during the second half of October, the four-day tournament will be organised by Esperia Volleyball Academy along with Dubai Sports Council and Ski Dubai.
The event is the first of its kind in the Middle East and is held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, in an effort to make Dubai the hub for international sporting events.
Individuals interested in learning how to play snow volleyball can now register for training sessions at the Snow Volley Courts on 3 September.
Additionally, Ski Dubai will also host national and international tournaments including the UAE Alpine Ski Championship, UAE National Ski and Snowboard Freestyle Championship and the Ice Warrior Challenge.
All the events held will be done with all COVID-19 protocols in place.
