Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced the launch the National Sterilisation Programme.
From Monday 19 July, sterilisation will take place between midnight and 5am each day, and movement is restricted between these hours.
Public are to stay at home unless absolutely necessary to go out, or to get essential supplies including food and medicine. To go out during these hours the public would need to have a permit to move which they can apply for on the Abu Dhabi Police website.
This is part of the effort to protect public health and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
