The Emirati Korean Festival 2021 is an online festival that will bring the two cultures together through a series of virtual activities.
The theme for the festival is 'Converging Cultures' and will take place from 31 March to 2 April.
The event is organised by The Ministry of Culture along with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea.
The festival will include a variety of cultural events and programmes including performances by Ak Dan Gwang Chil and Al Burda Exhibition, a virtual Islamic art exhibition.
The programmes are held in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Youth and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Creative Content Agency and the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange.
On 31 March and 1 April, a virtual session on promoting Korean content will feature 24 UAE speakers as well as 28 Korean speakers and on 2 April, a K-Pop concert will also be held.
