Senior citizens in Dubai can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine at their home to ensure their safety from the ongoing pandemic.
The home vaccination initiative is in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Dubai Health Authority and Community Development Authority.
Senior citizens aged 60 and above can now get the jab in the comfort of their own home.
Also, residents of Dubai that are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can do so by booking appointments at the health centres that are currently authorised to administer the vaccinations to the public.
When arriving for the appointment, residents are reminded to bring their Emirates ID, a copy of their valid Dubai residence visa and a medical report providing confirmation that they have a chronic disease.
