New Measures To Enter Abu Dhabi

WAM

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has updated the new precautionary measures that will be undertaken to enter Abu Dhabi.

The new measures have come into effect.

Individuals that take a PCR test can enter Abu Dhabi within 48 hours on receiving their negative results. Depending on the duration of their stay, they have to get tested on day 4 as well as on day 8.

Those that get a DPI test done and get a negative result can enter Abu Dhabi within 24 hours of receiving the result. The individual must also get a PCR test done on day 3 and day 7 of their stay.

Consecutive DPI tests cannot be used to enter the capital.

Those that have been vaccinated via the national vaccination programme or through clinical trials need to get a PCR test done after receiving both doses to activate the 'E' symbol or the 'gold star' symbol on the Al Hosn App. The PCR test is only valid for seven days.

Vaccinated individuals do not need to constantly get tested unless it is required by the trials or to activate the symbols on the Al Hosn app.
