The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that all UAE citizens and residents from the age of 16 and above are eligible to take the national vaccination programme against COVID-19.
Previously, people aged 18 and above were permitted to take the vaccine.
In order to ensure the safety and health of the public, MoHAP has reduced the eligibility to 16 and above.
