The Ministry of Education has confirmed that the summer holidays for children in all private and public schools in the UAE will start from 2 July.
The summer break for teachers and other members of school staff will start a week later on 9 July.
Up until the end of the term, pupils will still follow e-learning methods as they have since March as part of measures in place to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
Children will return to schooling at the start of September, however it has not been confirmed if schools will physically open then, in part or in whole, due to coronavirus COVID-19. Relevant departments will continue to monitor the situation and decide accordingly, and schools are preparing for every scenario.
